Continued from Worlds' Finest #10.

We start by picking up on Huntress following up on the Apocalypse Weapon Pee Gee picked up on her African adventures, investigating a weapon's warehouse in Mali. She kidnaps one of those involved in the arms trade tying him up and apparently interrogating him, though we don't see any of that. Apparently, some of that stolen Wayne money has ended up here, because now we're putting all the storylines together.

Kara however is in her civilian identity as Karen Starr attending a business conference in Las Vegas, along with her long-suffering assistant Somya Spears, who as normal looks nothing like all her previous appearances! Having keyed in on Holt as being involved Kara is planning to meet up with her previous squeeze to pump him for information.

Meanwhile, Huntress is going the more direct approach of breaking into his mansion, having to deal with increased security. All she seems to learn is that our apparent hero, Mr. Terrific remember, is not exactly as squeaky clean as he should be. And apparently, he meant to be dead or missing, which is a detail I'll admit I missed from the previous issues.

We're still not done with the flashbacks as we go back three and a bit years as Helena and Kara break into a place, Helena trying to teach Kara how to be subtle about it. Only for Kara to go literally flying off, a stunning security guard patrolling the area. Helena in the meantime has been using the computer system, looking for data about parallel universes and getting a little miffed when she finds nothing.

Back to Vegas as Kara and Helena turn up to a Holt party dressed to the nines, Pee Gee's just happening to be in white and not unsimilar to her classic costume! Helena admires her whole hide-in-plain-sight ability, she wanders off to case out the joint and shutting down a random person trying to flirt with her. Kara finally meet's back up with Michael Holt, only to learn what's going on, he's not actually Holt but DeSaad impersonating him!

The whole issue is really built around the whole last page reveal, DeSadd revealing himself to everyone there, with (almost) all plot lines being tied together to the main plot. And whilst I complained the last time (Infinity, Inc) spent a year telling just the one story I feel that this had enough variety to keep things interesting. I'll admit very little plot happens but we still get some pretty solid character beats especially around the fact Kara dated (and tricked) Holt back in the day. It almost makes the entire Mr Terrific run worth it, almost...
