We start with Power Girl facing down with Hakkou, that radiation man, and doing a pretty good job until she tries to touch the villain only to collapse in pain. So Huntress just steps up and just shoots him in the head, he flees and the women chase after him. We get another five-year flashback, to them burning their costumes. Then a skip to a few months later and Kara not being happy to be on Earth 0, wanting to just do something rather than just sitting around and gathering intel.

We then flash to the near now where Karan Starr is running her business in Micronesia, showing that she is a capable businesswoman and smarter than she often lets on. She then dives down to the ocean floor, beside the office that's on one of the islands, and brings up a massive chunk of Dysprosium (a real rare earth metal and not a made-up DC one). Oh and a quick Google search says it's worth £50,000 a kilogram, steels about $2,000 for comparison. She mentions both buying equipment for the lab and making more hybrid cars, so it shows she's not just in it for herself here. After dumping the chunk of rock she's told by her assistant that Huntress needs help, leading into the Huntress mini-series we skipped for lack of Power Girl.

Skipping back to now, now (than now), we find the pair following the traces of the villain. With a reference to a possible Fukushima mutant, because that was that long ago. We then get a quick cut to more money being taken from WayneTech, and some at the Gotham Bank noticing the weird withdraws. Then back to the fight between the two and this radioactive man, again Power Girl does well until Hakkou gives out a massive burst of energy, taking her down. And again Huntress is left on her own.

This might be a slim summary, but as is my bane this is a fairly fight heavy issue. But it also takes time to build up more on the characters, especially Kara, and is setting up some extra details for further plots down the line.

So still fun times, even if it doesn't look like it on the page.
